Note from the Artist — Wildflowers painted in ultramarine: a colour that absorbs and declares, all at once. My identity stretches into the homes we’ve shared, the hands we’ve held, the versions of each other we’ve stood by. I make sense only in contrast, or in reflection. Like the forms in this painting that grow in proximity: mimicking, resisting, overlapping.
This work is a visual reflection on the way we are shaped in relation to one another: of the way grace hold us, in the ceremony of sisterhood.
